Motherfucking Hunter S. Thompson is dead. He committed suicide.

Though I had the utmost respect for the good doctor, I must say that when people commit suicide, it pisses me off. First of all, how could you do something like that to the people who care about you? It's so selfish. I don't know Thompson's personal life, and maybe he was sick or something? I mean sick as in actually sick, not as in in the head. Anyone who's read or seen Fear and Loathing can tell you he was certainly the latter.

But damn, Doctor, couldn't you have taken some pills or drown yourself in a bathtub or something? Not only do you kill yourself, but you leave a huge mess for someone to clean up.

At any rate, in his memory, from that nutcase over at FafBlog:

Dont believe their filthy lies. Giblets saw the Good Doctor with his own two eyes just a few hours ago, heading north in the White Whale. He said he was headed up to heaven to shoot God. The great bastards in season and its long overdue, the Godfather of Gonzo said as he dusted off his elephant gun. I have full reason to believe they will award me both the head and the tail. Expect me back by the apocalypse. Good hunting, Doctor Thompson. Youll be missed.
