And northern star, please enlighten the lost prayers of my soul - childhood dreams of death and titans... we were meant to be free.

This is a pretty cool article from NYT. It's a good, quick read, but there's something really funny about it too. The article mentions BugMeNot, a browser plugin that lets you access shared passwords for websites that require that annoying registration form and bypass it by using someone else's password (which they willingly added to the database). This keeps you not only from having to fill out the password form, but also from being spammed or having your information logged.

What's funny is that The NY Times website uses such a registration and username method, and BugMeNot has plenty of shared passwords to access The NY Times. I just found that humorous, I guess. Anyway, since the NYT is often caught making corrections and not mentioning they've been made, I think I'm going to watch the article for a while and see if it gets mentioned.
