My father considered a walk among the mountains as the equivalent of churchgoing.

You may or may not ever pay attention to my "Blogroll" over on the left hand side of the page, but if you don't, you should. I have some links to some really amazing sites over there.

Today I want to center on the "Dirty Hippies" section, just because right now these people are bringing forth some really important information and doing some unignorable work.

Beyond the Beyond: The blog of Bruce Sterling, author, journal (`entry_id`,`time`,`title`,`body`,`topic`,`description`,`delicious`) ist, editor, critic, blogger. Sometimes he blogs about environmental concerns, other times he posts images and discussions from the futurism classes he teaches. Very cool stuff.

Bush Green Watch: Pretty obvious by the name, but if not, it's pdates on the Bush Administration's environmental record.

How to Save The World: Dave Pollard's environmental philosophy, creative works, business papers and essays. Inspired by Daniel Quinn and others, Dave Pollard tries to tell us how to move to sustainable business practices and otherwise change our minds before it's too late.

Post-Atomic: Just, well... yeah. Check it out.

Post Human Blues: Not really so much "hippie" as futurist, but it fits pretty well in this category. Post Humanism and Futurism involve the exponential increase in cultural and technological evolution.

Off-Grid.Net: Information and commentary to help you get off the grid and stay that way comfortably.

Sustainability Zone: a weblog and resource library for news and information about all aspects of sustainable living - from home design, to city planning, and global politics.

Tree Hugger: One of my favorites in this section; mentioned here several times before. Links to products and services to help consumers make more eco-friendly choices while staying hip. The definitive, modern yet green lifestyle filter. It will help you improve your course, yet maintain your aesthetic.

World Changing: Models, Tools, and Ideas for Building a Bright Green Future.
