So, even though my dad's family celebrates Eastern Orthodox Easter, which is on May 1 this year, I'm going home to Asheville, NC this weekend. Mainly this is because I'm off of work tomorrow for Western Good Friday and because the girlfriend's birthday is May 1 this year and her birthday kinda sucked last year, so I want to make sure we get some good partying time in. I guess you could say I'm giving up piety for lent. Heh.
Anyway, the point of this post is to tell you that aside from the typical "Easter is very rooted in Paganism" post, you probably won't hear alot out of me this weekend. Then again, with all the shit going down recently, you might hear alot out of me anyway.
