I toy around with the whole Biblical thing, just as amazing characters. What I've read, in terms of the Bible and shit, is that Satan's this super-charming guy who'll come off sweet as sugar, and that if you run into him, he'll try and fool you into thinking he's God. From all of that, wouldn't that probably make God the devil, if he's such a good liar? I can't think of any really horrendous shit that's been caused by the character Satan, but man, God's got quite a few smitings under his belt.

Shawna over at Radical Noesis (again, one of the sites I write for) has posted In Search of Wild Carrots, Part 1
"In this portion, I am looking at the kinds of foods that were eaten by the Natives to the Northwest area. This includes the tribes living in the lower Puget Sound region. The land here was not considered owned by any tribe in particular. All was shared peacefully among the tribes. During late spring and summer, when people gathered their foods, it was a time of happiness and celebration. They were happy to be seeing old friends and relations from other tribes.

A major part of their diets included the migratory fish that swam up the rivers. This included salmon, steelhead and eels. They also ate the trout, clams and other small fish that were available year round. Deer, elk and small game were also hunted for food and clothing.
The idea behind "Wild Carrots:"
"It is hard to imagine a world where our food sources just grow naturally without human intervention. Since the agricultural revolution, fruit and vegetable food sources have been manipulated in such a manner that many species cannot grow without human intervention. Capitalism and other currency economic systems have made food sources a marketable commodity. We buy the sustenance of life.
So, go go check out Shawna.
