Well, it passed. Bush will sign it into law soon, and as of May 2008, you'll all be required to "show your papers, citizen" or be effectively prohibited from traveling by air or Amtrak, opening a bank account, or entering federal buildings.
Also, as noted below, it gives the Homeland Security Secretary all kinds of crazy immunity from the law.
