Those who are too lazy and comfortable to think for themselves and be their own judges obey the laws. Others sense their own laws within them; thngs are forbidden to them that every honorable man will do any day in the year and other things are allowed to them that are generally despised. Each person must stand on his own feet.

Dirty Greek - Pop The Cap! Update - Write Your Senators!
Tarheel State : Pop The Cap! Update - Write Your Senators!

It's that time, folks. Start writing those Senators!
"We are asking PTC advocates to write or call 47 of the 50 state senators, asking them to support the specialty beer bill recently passed by the House. The only senators who don't need letters of support are our bill sponsors: Senators Bingham, Rand, and Webster. For these three senators, a letter of thanks would be great.

We know...that's a lot of contacting. That's why we've provided some resources below to make the campaign as painless as possible. Your letters and calls make a huge difference, so PLEASE take some time this week to write and express your support.

Very important note: please express your support for the House-approved bill - that is, the bill passed by the House, HB392. The bill needs to have the same language (15% cap, labeling) or else it could get caught up in the legislative ether with two different versions.
Excel spreadsheet of NC Senators
"Save this Excel spreadsheet locally. It contains the names, phone numbers, e-mails and mailing address for the 47 senators we're asking you to write. By using Microsoft Word's Mail Merge wizard, you should be able to import the "Title' and "Last Name" fields into the greeting line of the letter. In addition, this spreadsheet should allow you to quickly print out personalized envelopes and e-mails, if you chose to go that route.
