The world's got me dizzy again. You'd think after 22 years, I'd be used to the spin.

Dirty Greek - Evangelicals Decide Not To Fight Global Warming

You may remember this story from a while back about The National Association of Evangelicals' plan to make fighting global warming part of their agenda. WELL, via Sustainablog, it would appear that the likes of James Dobson of Focus on the Family think that "Bible-believing evangelicals . . . disagree about the cause, severity and solutions to the global warming issue." Therefore, the National Association of Evangelicans will NOT be dealing with global warming. SURPRISE!
The letter's signers amounted to a Who's Who of politically powerful evangelicals, including Charles W. Colson, founder of Prison Fellowship Ministries; James C. Dobson, chairman of Focus on the Family; the Rev. D. James Kennedy of Coral Ridge Ministries; the Rev. Richard Land of the Southern Baptist Convention; Richard Roberts, president of Oral Roberts University; Donald E. Wildmon, chairman of the American Family Association; and the Rev. Louis P. Sheldon, chairman of the Traditional Values Coalition.
I'd say we should write them letters, but what's the point? Obviously god doesn't want them to worry about how much we're ruining the planet. However, if you happen to be part of this association and want to tell them how you feel, I'd suggest you do so.
