It is certainly true that 'God' is often reduced to an idol created in the image and likeness of 'his' worshippers. If we imagine God to be a being like ourselves writ large, with likes and dislikes similar to our own, it is all too easy to make 'him' endorse some of our most uncharitable, selfish, and even lethal hopes, fears, and prejudices. This limited God has thus contributed to some of the worst religious atrocities in history.

Dirty Greek - Green Headlines Tool
  Environment : Green Headlines Tool
You are NOT on the DirtyGreek.Org homepage. Please CLICK HERE to go there.

You may notice, on the lefthand side of my site and near the middle vertically, the new Green Headlines Tool created by Mark Brandon of First Sustainable socially responsible investment planners. He has a pretty neat little tool here, which shows the newest headlines from my and several other great green blogs. Go check that all out, and you can request to have your feed added as well. It looks like this:

You may also notice that I have an ad for First Sustainable on the left of my page:

Go check out Mark's company and see what they can do for you.
Also, if your site qualifies, you can sign up for their affiliate program and make some side money by promoting socially responsible investing.
