Well traffic is kind of bad. They're widening easy street to fit more SUVs; they're planting baby trees to grow to shady peaks.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi. How does that taste, baby?

The Dems may lose the Senate still, but in general, logistically, no laws shall pass.

It's a good day.

UPDATE: Want a funny yet kind of sad picture to marinate over?

Say the Senate goes 50/50 counting the 2 liberal independents going toward the Dem side. The tie-breaker vote, which will probably be needed most of the time, is Cheney. BUT, it doesn't matter what the senate says really, since even if they vote republican, the house will go democrat every time. So basically, Cheney's new job would be tie-breaker for votes that will inevitably not make it anywhere anyway.

Of course, here's hoping that the Dems win the Senate, but at this point it only matters pride-wise anyway, since we now have a basically lame duck federal government.

And the urban areas of MO just sent in their votes, and that pushed McCaskil ahead really far, so that she's winning by 14,000 votes with 80% of the votes in. MT is looking pretty great for the Dems, and VA might be a win for Webb, but it'll be contested.

I don't want to be up all night!
