Well traffic is kind of bad. They're widening easy street to fit more SUVs; they're planting baby trees to grow to shady peaks.

Dirty Greek - Necrobestiality

WARNING: This is kind of a disgusting topic. I don't know why I'm so interested...

Not that I condone the practice, but Wisconsin says it's illegal to have sex with a dead animal.

Now, logically, does that mean it should be illegal to have sex with a steak? Does it make lambskin condoms illegal?

I totally agree that bestiality should be illegal, since an animal can't give consent... but does it count once the animal's dead? You can "process" them in factories where they often don't die before being eviscerated. You can squeeze them into cages that don't allow them to turn around. You can cauterize their beaks and pump them full of antibiotics so they don't die from the grain you're feeding them against all evolutionary tendencies towards grass.

But, if you have sex with them after they're dead, that's illegal.

Now, in this case, the judge was interpreting the law as he thought he should, and if the law said sex with animals was illegal and didn't specify that the animal had to be alive, he was just doing his job. But, should that law not be clarified? According to the judge, the "primary focus" of Wisconsin's criminal statute dealing with crimes against sexual morality is on "human behavior and on protecting sexual morality in the community, and not necessarily on animal protection."

Is it constitutional to legislate morality and so specifically state that this is what you're doing?
