Who told you love was fleeting? Sometimes men can be so misleading to take what they need from you. Whatever you need to make you feel like you've been the one behind the wheel, the sunrise is just over that hill, the worst is over.

Surely you all know about the infected tomato story that became an infected jalapeno story by now. At least 1,220 people in 42 states have fallen ill because of this salmonella outbreak, whatever the cause. However, when the reason for the outbreak becomes public, I'm sure we'll ignore it just as we already have the last few times. Remember when we had an E.Coli outbreak from spinach in 2006? Do you remember what the cause was? According to Dennis G. Maki, M.D., it was grain-fed cattle.
Since grain-feeding to enhance meat production — as contrasted with traditional pasturing — promotes enteric colonization by acid-resistant Shiga toxin–producing E. coli,4 up to 2 to 3% of domestic cattle carry E. coli O157 at the time of slaughter
In other words, feeding cattle grain, rather than the grass they evolved to eat, increases the E.Coli in their stomachs, which then increases the amount of E.Coli in their waste, which is then used as fertilizer and otherwise runs off into water that is used to irrigate crops.

Is a similar problem causing the jalapeno salmonella outbreak?

With Obama and his cohorts targeting our food we are certainly going to need an effective and vigilant reinforcement of security measures to ensure our food safety, yes, but I think something more passively applicable would be a good solution instead of a solely brute-force solution, but I'll take solely brute-force routine inspection any day if the food that reaches my family's plate will be safe and healthy to eat.
