So, is it just me, or is killing 330,000 chickens suspected of having the Avian Flu kind of... well... cruel? I mean, I understand wanting to protect people, but how is it that the lives of birds are so insignificant that we would kill over a quarter million of them? And that's just one state. It seems to me like a really bad way of going about this... especially when 1 out of 8 bird species is threatened with extinction.
