I toy around with the whole Biblical thing, just as amazing characters. What I've read, in terms of the Bible and shit, is that Satan's this super-charming guy who'll come off sweet as sugar, and that if you run into him, he'll try and fool you into thinking he's God. From all of that, wouldn't that probably make God the devil, if he's such a good liar? I can't think of any really horrendous shit that's been caused by the character Satan, but man, God's got quite a few smitings under his belt.

Dirty Greek - Did The Terrorists Win in Spain?

My current thoughts all point me to a big, flashy NO. Sure, some people may have voted out the conservatives in order to appease whoever carried out the attacks, but I don't think it's fair to say that they were bowing down to the demands of the terrorists.

I dunno... I think that who won was the people of Spain. 90% of them didn't want their troops in Iraq, but their government went anyway. Then, someone attacked them. Granted Al Queda said they wanted the conservatives out of Spain and Spain's troops out of Iraq and out of favor with the coalition, but that in no way means that their attacks are what caused the election to be swayed one way or the other.

After the attack, the Spanish people were angry with their current government for several reasons, partially because of the blatant politicizing of the attacks, partially because 90% of them wanted their troops out of Iraq anyway, and probably also based on other problems we don't know much about living here in the U.S.

The terrorists didn't win, Democracy won. The people won.
