Well traffic is kind of bad. They're widening easy street to fit more SUVs; they're planting baby trees to grow to shady peaks.

Police in Louisiana no longer need a warrant to search private property. In a ruling that opens the doors to a privilege that clearly won't be abused, United States v. Kelly Gould, No. 0230629cr0 found that searches can be performed "if an officer fears for his safety" or if he has "a legitimate problem to be there."

An obvious blow to civil liberties for Louisiana.
