I really don't like Chalabi over-all, but I do think he's right about one thing."My message to the CPA is let my people go, let my people be free. We are grateful to President Bush for liberating Iraq but it is time for the Iraqi people to run their affairs," he told a press conference. I mean, if we're all gung ho about "democracy" in Iraq, why haven't we let the Iraqis vote on anything yet? At all? Not even who was in their interrim government, not even their flag, not even whether the coalition stays or goes? Sure the coalition is saying that if the new Iraqi government tells us to leave we will, but shit, WE'RE picking the new Iraqi government!
