The industrial revolution has flipped the bitch on evolution. The benevolent and wise are being cornered, ostracized, what a bummer! The world keeps getting dumber; insensitivity is standard and faith is being fancied over reason.

...Kinda
"The U.S. Army plans within months to break up Halliburton Co.'s contract to provide support services for U.S. troops in Iraq -- valued at up to $13 billion -- and open the work to competitive bids, The Wall Street journal (`entry_id`,`time`,`title`,`body`,`topic`,`description`,`delicious`) said on Tuesday, citing an internal Army memorandum.

Houston-based Halliburton, whose chief executive from 1995 to 2000 was Vice President Dick Cheney, has been buffeted for months by accusations of overcharging on the contract, under which its Kellogg Brown & Root (KBR) unit provides services such as dining, housing, laundry and transportation.

Halliburton spokeswoman Wendy Hall told the newspaper the Army's move was expected and that KBR would consider bidding for parts of the work.
Of course, they did bid for the original contract. It was done BEFORE the war, as a defence contractor bid, and they won it. This means when the Iraq war hit, they got the contract for that.

Shady.
