Then let me hear no more of our kind's natural necessity to form hierarchical groups. An observer viewing human life shortly after cultural takeoff would easily have concluded that our species was destined to be irredeemably egalitarian except for distinctions of sex and age.

Dirty Greek - Voter Fraud
  Politics : Voter Fraud

A friend of mine's family is all pro-bush, and his aunt has been doing some volunteering at an early voting location. So, the other day, she laughingly tells him this story (she assumed he was pro bush and apparently also assumed he thought dishonesty and voter fraud were funny).

A large group of black men and women came in the other day to cast their votes. They told her it was their first time and asked her for help. She asked them what their political affiliation was and they were, as she put it, "of course liberals." They wanted to vote Kerry.

So, she told them they could just mark the democratic straight ticket and be done with it, purposely not informing them that they had to seperately vote for judges and, most importantly, the president.

She laughingly told my friend this story, thinking that he would find it funny. I find it sickening, as did he. IF she wasn't family, he would've turned her in.
